NutriSystems food is prepackaged and shelf stable. The meals are nutritionally balanced with 60% carbs, 20% fat and 20% protein The diet consists of 3 meals and 2 snacks per day.
NutriSystem appears to be a great solution if you have less than 20 pounds to lose, and want to lose it quickly. It’s great for someone who likes convenience and does not find joy in cooking. The prepackaged foods are delivered to your door.
The diet itself is nutritionally sound. The biggest complaint is about the taste of the food. Counseling is available online.
For a few extra dollars per day, you can choose one of the above programs for freshly prepared food.
